Theme: “Speak Up For The People and Be The Drive For A Change”

The contemporary world is dominated mainly by social humanitarian issue that was formulated in what we call as Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). The inability of government to work alone in solving poverty is partially caused by the minimum global cooperation in tackling this problem. Therefore, multilateral efforts to tackle these social humanitarian issues along with other issues related, such as economical issues should be further discussed.

Aside than that, acknowledgement to individual rights is one of the biggest campaigns in the world. The spread of democracy is unstoppable as the citizen start asking for their rights as what we could observe in Middle East or Northern Africa. Democracy issues are also crucial as democracy is somehow perceived not effective in achieving the goal of prosperity.

Based on that assumption, IndonesiaMUN 2011 would like to put forward the discussion upon these two main topic, thus the notion achieving prosperity by excelling democracy is plausible in the future that we all dreaming of.
