Objectives

  1. To educate the candidate of delegate and the potential participants about the main issue will be bring at IMUN 2011.
  2. To early introduce about IMUN 2011 and to build awareness and curiosity to the participants about this second IMUN.

Concept

IMUN Workshop I is a pre-IMUN workshop to introduce Model United Nations (MUN) in general and IMUN in particular. This workshop will be held a few months before IMUN as part of the IMUN promotion and the proliferation of MUN, which can be assumed as a new nation-wide event, in Indonesia. IMUN Workshop is aimed to be participated by FISIP students and potential IMUN participants. However, this workshop is also open for public.

The workshop will be held on Tuesday, June 15th. There will be two sessions in the workshop. The first session will discuss about the main topic MDG’S and the relationship with the sub-theme in IMUN 2011 about the prosperity and democracy. And the second will present about IMUN flow at the d-day and the video simulation. The video will be played by the student in International Relations University of Indonesia. After the presentation and the simulation, there will be a training about public relations by the expert person.
